Story

Why do we exist?
Every church has to ask themselves, “why do we exist?” The answer is the purpose behind all that we do. It is our measuring stick that ensures that every effort we put forth is bringing us closer to our goals. So, “Why does River of Life exist?” The answer is: To immerse people into a vibrant, life-transforming relationship with Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 4:16 – “From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does it’s work.”

Core Values
Knowing Jesus means allowing Him to develop and mature us through His grace and truth in the following ways:
• DISCIPLESHIP: Committing our lives to Jesus’ plan to transform our lives through studying the Bible, worship, prayer, honoring God, and serving others
• RELATIONSHIP: Building safe, healthy, open relationships with others. Together we make up the body of Christ.
• OUTREACH: Reaching our community with the message and character of Jesus, working alongside River and others with our talents, resources, and time.
