We were up cross-country skiing near Cable on the last weekend in January when my 25 year-old ski boot tore right out of the 3 pin binding on my left ski. Darn stuff just doesn't hold up!! We headed to Riverbrook in Seeely. where Eric was very helpful and knowledgeable and recommended new Salomon boots and bindings. The only problem was....he didn't have boots to fit my big, fat feet. He called Hayward and found that they had the boots I need. Off to Hayward!!! Cindy had the boots and bindings waiting for me and Tim mounted the bindings on my skis in about 10 minutes (He did mention that "he hadn't seen bindings like that for quite awhile"). Thanks to you all, you saved my weekend!!

We have been coming to the Hayward area for over 30 years now to vacation. I had heard that the area was developing some single track trail systems, so I stopped in to find out about them and rent a bike. Tim, the owner, was very helpful and friendly, and told me all about the trail systems around the area and suggested a few that I might like. I then decided to rent a bike from him, and since I am very tall he had a bike delivered from his other store that would accomidate me better. When it came in he even delivered it to my house so I didn't have to come back in to the store. The bike was awesome, it was in great shape and performed very well on the trails. The trail that he suggested was absolutely beautiful, and was fun to ride. I cant wait to get back and try some other trails when we are in town again. As far as service, equipment, and information about biking in the Hayward area I wouldn't go anywhere else besides Riverbrook Bike Shop. They were top notch, and very friendly and helpful. It nice to see good customer service alive and well.
