We had an amazing time at Riverbrook Campground, and we plan on returning for sure! There are only 4 tent sites, and they all offer privacy from 'neighbors'. I'm not a huge fan of camping right on top of other people, so this was definitely our speed. We reserved two sites and they were close enough for convenient access to each other but also far enough away for privacy. We'd only met one staff member and he was incredibly nice and attentive. He also delivered our firewood right to our site, and he stops by in the evening to pick up and trash bags you're ready to get rid of - that was nice! Both the river and pool were a nice relief from the hot sun, and neither were uncomfortably crowded. Also, the bathroom and showers were kept very clean, which is HUGE for me. This was a really fun trip, and we all went home happy!
Stayed two nights, one RV site and one tent site. Rv sites have NO shade basically a field made into a campground. Tent site was to be near the river so the grandchildren could tube down it , we where disappointed to find that there really was a river to tube down, very steep banking to get down the the trickle of a river. Tent site have no water nearby. My daughter and grandchildren who stayed on the tent site had to deal with another tent site with a generator running all the time, loud music, loud vehicles and yelling. We have stayed at MANY campgrounds and the policies are NO generator, quiet hours and had water at the site. As far as the RV site it was in full sun as was 90 % of the sites, no RV mats allowed and the sites are gravel so it made for a lot sand in our RV. We didn't deal with loud neighbors like my daughter did but it was crowded. The pool is nice and the game room with free games for the kids was nice. Overall I wouldn't recommend staying there.
I have zero complaints about this place. From booking to check in to the stay, all was fantastic. We are a full time traveling family so I’ve been to many campgrounds and this ranks pretty high. It’s easy access and big rig friendly sites. It’s been quiet and peaceful. My kids love the playground and the river access. My dog loves the open field and river. Gameroom seems fun. To those who say it’s a parking lot for rvs and that you can see right into peoples campers…they are ridiculous…go home.
Spent a week here. The owner was very helpful and went over and beyond to help is with everything. Not a bad location either. About 4 miles from Walmart. 2 breweries within 2 miles. I would definitely recommend
We just got back from a week long trip here. The place is nice. Sites are really close together and there is no shade so bring a pop-up! The sites are grass and well cared for. The pool was great and there is also a game room. Very kid friendly, they were running around everywhere- we saw alot of dogs too at least 2 different sites near us had 3. Definitely a good place to go as a group with adjoining sites
Absolutely loved this campground!! We have already booked a second trip here this summer. The playground was small but surrounded by field. My youngest loved Crawling through the train. Bathrooms were always kept clean. Having the river so close was an added bonus. I loved the size of the campground. It wasn't more than a 5 minute walk around the roads to get to our friends site. Having water sewer and electric was huge for us also. This was our first trip in our new pop up and it was the best trip to break it in. Thank you Riverbrook for having a clean family friendly campground!!
Was a very friendly campground, owner was pleasant, sites were large, not a a lot of shade. Will stay again and maybe get a site up against the trees. If I had one complaint it was finding the office of all things. Had never been there before and game room, camp store, pool were all in plain site but not one office sign. Not really a big deal, just as we all know arriving at a unfamiliar campground can be stressful enough without having to hunt for the office.
Nice grassy sites. We’ll maintained grounds, nice pool. Garbage picked up throughout the day. Firewood and ice delivered by texting office. Will be back
Clean campground and friendly staff! The river access was really nice for the pups in the evening. Definitely a dog friendly campground!
My boyfriend and I just stayed here for the first time and we couldn’t have been happier! We wound up canceling other plans we had and staying here longer because we liked it so much! Full hookups, plenty of room, and the best part was that they have a huge area out back where they allow dogs to romp off leash! We are dog trainers and travel with 6+ dogs in our RV sometimes so this place was perfect with us. It was also close to some fantastic hiking spots in White Mountain National Forest which we really enjoyed! I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling through New Hampshire! We would definitely stay here again!
