I had a pretty blah experience here with one of the owners. I came in here looking for a Moleskin notebook, having had someone else recommend this place to me. I inquired about them and was told they didn't sell them. I asked if they used to sell them since another shop owner had sent me there and he told me they used to sell them and that he could order one for me, but that there are much better and cheaper options for quality notebooks out there. I inquired as to which kinds he meant but he wouldn't name any other brands. I didn't end up ordering through him since I felt he insulted my choice, which is a pretty poor customer service move. They may have a nice little book selection but the staff is rude.

This is where I bought my first Harry Potter book, good prices and nice staff with a calm atmosphere.

This adorable and quaint shop is under new ownership and management. They've done incredible things here! The new owner is a legend in the book world, with decades of experience as the head of books and manuscripts at Christies, so will undoubtedly continue to do really wonderful things in his new storefront.

The site was small, but had a good selection and a lot of gently used books for a discounted price.
