Absolutely horrendous experience. I would give this court zero stars if I could. Let me start this off by saying, if you are going to fight a speeding ticket here like I was trying to do, HIRE A LAWYER!! Do not try to fight it by yourself like I did, these judges (and cops) are more than EAGER to find you guilty. The day of my trial the officer that I was going to trial with was EXTREMELY unprofessional, rude, arrogant, and condescending. He made a point to single me out in the court room and started trying to discourage me from going to trial. When we were called up to start our trial, the judge let the officer state his case and show his "certifications" to use a radar (which were over 10 years old). When it came my turn to speak, the judge would not let me finish explaining my case, interrupted me several times and refused to look at physical evidence i had supporting my case. He then proceeded to demean me (which he did to no one else that day), called me a liar and spoke condescendingly to me in front of the entire court room and found me guilty. I wasnt even at the podium for a full minute. As a final offense, the officer eagerly ran over to the door to hold it for me, making very snarky faces while doing so, as If he wanted to rub it in. These officers and judges are nothing but dishonest, power tripping, and money hungry, so ready to charge you insanely so they can make a living off of you.

Lazy ass people, i called because a letter i received about a fine that isn't mine. Went threw the directory, was waiting for a representative for 20 minutes just for them to answer and hang up on me . Probably because it was 15 minutes till closing, but its still open jerks. I called well before closing You people are lazy You would b fired if u did that where i work

Old, very nice, historic building. Well maintained, clean, good set of information. I can't comment on Court Services as I have no experience at all. (Fortunately.)

Horrible!!! Horrible!!!! Horrible!!!! I am in NY and I got divorce at that court house because I lived in Palm Springs at the time. I lost my divorce paperwork and need it because I want to go back to my maiden name. I have been trying from NY for years to obtain a copy and I get nowhere!!! I am still good friends with my ex-husband but he too lost his divorce paperwork. He went to the Indio court house and got instructions for me to get my divorce paperwork by mail. I followed the instructions. I sent a check for 25.00 along with a self addressed envelope a year ago and I still haven't heard a thing. This is soo frustrated!!! I want to scream!!!! I just got off the phone with someone from traffic because they are the only ones that actually answer the phone after you have been on hold for an hour. She basically told that I should fly out to California if I want it that bad. The whole place SUCKS BIG TIME!!!!!!!
