I visited on New Years Eve and decided to just go with an appetizer, the Brisket Potato Skins. They weren't bad for what they were, the potato skins themselves were super dense and a little tough, but the flavor was good. I ended up getting additional BBQ sauce that I thoroughly enjoyed. The service was phenomenal, my server was very friendly and attentive. I'll certainly be back to try some entrees. I recommend this restaurant based on the limited experience I've had so far.
I've grown to like this part of Bettendorf more over the past year. I have lots of memories of Sports Fans from when I was in high school, there's a few really great new restaurants nearby, and there's a farmer's market running in the summer just a few blocks east on several days. On a recent recommendation from a coworker, I decided to try Riverside Grille tonight. Though I'd driven past this building multiple times, I'd never gotten a good sense of how big the place is until my visit tonight. I parked in the free public lot right nearby, and walked a little to a lot farther than I thought I would have to the restaurant. Not a big deal, just a bit of messed up perspective on my part, perhaps? At any rate , I soon made my way inside through the fairly large vestibule. Like, seriously, it's big enough for three chairs and an ATM. It was a Tuesday, so no waiting for this guy. I walked right into the dining area, noted the "sit anywhere you like" sign, and took a seat at the mostly empty bar. The space is new, this much is certain. There's darker stained wood laminate covering the floors, an unfinished ceiling plenum with visible supports and HVAC ductwork REALLY shiny ductwork throughout, and suspended accent lights hanging throughout the space. The ceiling and a good portion of the walls is painted black, with some of the surrounding walls painted a bluish grey through the remainder of the dining area. There are also some metal covered pillars at intervals with riveting or riveting patterns? across the dining space as well. The aesthetic of the space comes off as sharp and, frankly, interesting. The elements present a space themed around industry by the water. I personally liked it. What I wasn't a huge fan of was the overall noise level of the space. Riverside Grille has made the conscious decision to play louder than necessary music and uninteresting pop music at that throughout the dining space. The end result of this is an environment not geared towards quiet, meaningful conversation, but rather half screaming at the people in your dining group in order to talk. Partially to be heard over the music, and partially to be overheard over the mass of other people in the space consciously or otherwise doing the same thing. It's a choice that some places make - I personally think it is detrimental to any kind of meaningful evening spent dining out. I ordered a Patty Melt with fries for my meal. This was completed and in front of me within 15 minutes. Both were great! The burger was still moist and tasted like beef and the onions were sufficiently reduced to have extra sweetness but still retaining texture. The fries were extra crispy - something I'll always enjoy as a compliment to any meal. If it weren't for the noise level, I'd likely return here again for another burger or sandwich. Honestly, the food I had tonight was good enough that I'd consider ordering as takeout, just to not have to eat in the space. If they'd lower the volume of the music, the dining experience would improve dramatically. Vegetarian options: There's a black bean burger and a veggie wrap offered on the menu. The black bean burger honestly looks pretty good. Kid-friendliness: The space is not conducive to bringing your children. It is much too loud for a nice sit-down meal with the family. Parking: There's parking in free lots immediately to the west and east of the restaurant.

Great burger but the wait staff was totally confused. Sat at the bar. No order that came out to the bar was known where to go. Waitresses not sure of who was doing what. Here about 45 minutes. At least 6 to 8 orders were prepared wrong or the bar tenders put it in wrong. Staff at the waitress station constantly unsure of next moves, orders, who had what table, etc.
Always good food, good service . They are usually busy and still the staff is responsive. The acoustics are a little noisy to have conversation when at capacity. Tons of screens for on game day.Food: 4/5
Had the Daytona wings and pulled pork potato skins! Throw in some Busch Light tap beer. Awesome lunch! Thank u Riverside staff!
We seated ourselves and waited for someone to come engage us and we waited a good 15 minutes for someone to give us menus and no one ever came to ask for our drinks or anything like that. We decided to get up and leave and go somewhere else. Would not come back.
Nice sports bar with plenty of screens and spacious seating. Well-stocked bar with a good assortment of spirits as well as local and national-brand beer. Got there after the kitchen had closed hence only 4 stars, but the waitress was nice enough to convince the cooks to heat up a bowl of chili for me - which was very good. Next time in the area, I will happily give it another try - hopefully before the kitchen closes for the night 10pm at the time of writing.
The wife and I have been there several times, nice place, nice people and good food ! We always take our Food to Go. However this is the 2nd Time we have Ordered Food to Go on the Weekend and Food is DEFINITELY NOT the Same as During the Week ! We "ALWAYS" Believe in Tipping Between 25/30% ! I TOLD my Wife this is ONE more Place that we will Not Be Ordering Food From on the Weekends, Sorry ! Unfortunately You're Place is not the only Establishment around that HAS this Problem
Nice place to hang out, watch a game and have some drinks. Not great for bigger groups meetin because the place is fairly small and can get pretty loud. The food is a little expensive but good for bar-food.Food: 4/5
