I am a very laid back person and so I may not be the best person to write a review but I thought that Riverview Greens was absolutely stunning. I had my wedding there just this month and everything went smoothly in my opinion. I did not hear one complaint about the venue or the food all night long. The only thing that I could say would have been nice is that waiters should have been bringing around water to refill glasses but nobody really noticed that. The wait staff was very nice and helpful. The food was great. The owner, Kathy, was always willing to answer my questions, give me suggestions, and meet with me when able to. Trust me I emailed/talked to Kathy a lot! I never once was ignored and my questions/concerns were always immediately addressed. I appreciated all the help that Kathy provided and her courtesy in doing so. Thank you Riverview Greens & Staff for giving me a beautiful day/night to remember!

Reception Review

I got married in September of 2014 and have told this story to countless people when they ask about our reception. I was reminded of these issues when I attended a wedding in June of 2017 and experienced the same meal issues at this wedding. 

This venue is stunning! That's why we chose it....but THAT IS IT. Beautiful venue with the most AWFUL SERVICE and HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. Kathy did NOT do well with communicating to people that needed important information on the wedding day. The bartender had no idea that it was an open bar so my guests were paying for drinks for the first two hours at the reception.  Some people were charged $5 others charged $7 for a glass of wine. Our food was brought out over 30 minutes late. There was a lot of miscommunication about who was getting vegan meals, gluten free meals, etc. The chef cooked an amazing meal...but unfortunately serving delay caused the meal to be stressful for everyone. The servers were also very disrespectful to our guests and unwilling to help with questions they had. At one point, the servers were bringing food to our guests prior to serving the head table. Later, the servers were bringing out the gluten free cake to the head table rather than the regular cake for our wedding parter. I, the bride, informed the servers of this mistake and they argued with me and insisted they were to bring the gluten free cake to the head table. I clarified that the bride and groom were getting gluten free cake and the rest of the wedding party was getting regular cake. They never brought regular cake to the head table.

Due to the bartending mistake and charges of $5-$7 for glasses of wine, rather than $3 a glass and many other mistakes throughout the night, I refused to pay my bill at the end of the night. Even the bartender was frustrated and commented she was never informed of the open bar tab from the owner. I met with Kathy a week later and she "made it right" by only charging me $3/glass of wine. I had to remind her that my guests were being charged for two hours and she laughed it off and replied with "at least you didn't have to pay for those two hours." She somehow thought this was all okay. 

Another issue - prior to booking, we toured the facility and were informed by Kathy that we could select napkins of any color for the dinner. I asked if plum was an option and she said yes. She mentioned they also provide simple center pieces of candles and mirrors if we were interested. I was so happy to hear that because we were not interested in doing our own decorations. Fast-forward to three months before, I asked about napkins and center pieces and her reply was "You can select napkins in white, ivory, or black. And we don't do center pieces anymore, it was too much trouble. 

My advice, do NOT have your wedding or reception here if you are hoping for a smooth venue process.

course ok at best. While golfing they were spraying chemicals on fairways right next to us. Did not finish playing because of headaches caused by smell.

I had a blast at this Course summer of 2016. Some reviews could have scared me off but this place seemed top notch to me! Look at my fantastic pics! I thought it was pretty and a fun course to play! You can't beat the price either!
