Went for lunch about 1-1:30 and only a few people were dining, so service was quick and very attentive. Food was excellent. Portions large. Menu is Portuguese with everything from chicken to beef to seafood. Prices very reasonable.

I normally go here for family events. Today i was in the mood for something different and since i haven't had Riviera in a long time id give it a go. WRONG MOVE. I called to place a order for take out 3 items. My wife picks up the food and when we get home they were missing one of the orders. The other one was made incorrectly. I called them to let them know. I guess if i wanted my food cooked Portuguese style i need to request it. If i wanted American food i would have ordered pizza. NEVER AGAIN will i go here. The "American" chicken was gross. Good thing there are other PORTUGUESE restaurants in East Providence.

Last night was very bad. Waitress Sandy came get our orders, left and did not return to us until after we started eating which the food came out to us after 1 hour and luke warm only. We spent a good two hours at the restaurant.

Great food and Portuguese wine at good prices. Needs a little spiffing to be a 5 star.

Absolutely lovely place! Food was amazing! Even took leftovers home and already looking forward to eating it tomorrow! Go go go there, you won't regret it. Service was absolutely delightful. I wish I caught the gentleman's name. He was an older man and did his job PERFECTLY. Staff is always working together nicely. They make you feel like you're on vacation! Will definitely be back!
