Once upon a time, there were dress shoes, and there were sneakers. And that was it. But that's not how life works. What about everything in between? Drawing on generations of shoemaking experience, Rockport was able to merge the comfort of athletic shoes with the smart, sophisticated look of dress and casual styles. Had a great experience at this store.!! Traveled all the way up from southern Md. and was glad I did. John is a pleasant salesman and he gave me prompt and efficient service. He took the time to make them fit just right. Found the burgundy dress loafers I wanted and bought another casual pair too. Rockport is my favorite shoe and Towson is my favorite store....Will be back again.....RB

Just had a terrible experience in this store in Towson Mall, Maryland. I own almost exclusively Rockport shoes. Went in to try on a pair to potentially replace the pair I was wearing. The smallest size they had was 8M. I asked if they had a smaller size. The black shop assistant said no only a 7.5W. I asked if there was a way to measure if I was wide. She sarcastically asked if I was uncomfortable in the 8M. I said no to which she replied then she had just measured me and I was not wide. Now the fun part begins. I decided not to take the shoes but my wife suggested I pickup some socks. So I picked up three pairs and waited to be rung up. The black shop assistant finished talking to her friends and then rang me up. The total said $101. I politely asked her how it was possible that 3 pairs of socks were $101. She said that the socks were $8 each. I said no they are $8 a pair. She then said so what are you saying. I repeated what I had said. She then repeated what are you saying. I said I did not think 3 pairs of socks could be $101. At this point my wife who was minding our 2 year old said lets go. Like a good husband I began to take her advise. At this point the black shop assistant said "get out". My wife then said come on lets go these people are being rude to which the shop assistant replied "get out". We then left the store. I find this experience very unfortunate. Luckily I was able to purchase my socks at another store in the mall and in the future I will definitely think twice about purchasing Rockport shoes.
