Although the room was okay, the bathroom was disgusting and the service was terrible. When I called I asked if they allowed pets, they don't, which was fine. When my husband went and checked in (I was at meetings) he asked for a non smoking room. The lady at the counter straight up said (rudely) "If you have dogs you aren't welcome here." And kept pressing him about it. She gave us a smoking room and my husband (doesn't mind smoke) only kind of noticed but when I got there, I really notice. The smell just makes me feel sick and so he went and asked to change rooms. They ladies were still rude about that, even though he's specifically asked for a non smoking room to begin with. Just not good service and left a bad name for any other Rodeway Inn.

Hands down WORST PLACE I've ever been in! Staying here ruined my vacation. I was here with family, 7 adults, two toddlers, and an infant. Right when we walked in the room we were hit with a strong stench of cigarette smoke, the floors were so dirty our feet turned black after walking around for 1 minute!(no I'm not exaggerating), the head boards were full of greasy finger marks (who knows what happened...yuck), one of bathroom sinks were clogged, the shower heads had so much lime scale the shower experience couldn't even be considered to be a decent experience, the towels had stains from who knows what, and the bed was also stained! Oh also for their free WiFi, I was in the top room nearby the office and I only had one bar! And it fluctuates between one bar to no bars of service, I rather use my cellular data. This by far is absolutely the worst place I've ever stayed. If it hadn't been so late at night (2am) my family and I would've never settled for such a place like this. I couldn't bear to put my bare feet on the floor I had to borrow my brothers sandals during my entire stay. The area around here was super shady with very narrow parking too my bnl even commented "this looks like a place people would sell drugs, pimp out people, and do sex trafficking. This is not a safe place for families." For $180 for two rooms I rather put in another $100 for cleaner and better experience somewhere else.

I'm a diamond member with choice and I reserved a room here to be close with the family. But the room was horrible it smelled like smoke in my room I stayed in room 205 and the restroom look a joke. I thought for a minute they were playing with me but no, the sink water filled up really quick didn't drain. The shower had intervals of hot and cold water with no consistency.  I don't care what the photos show my room was horrible and go check for yourself before you book it because it sucks.

Stayed a couple nights at Rodeway Inn in South Gate, CA. Rates are affordable. Rooms are clean and spacious. Beds are soft and comfortable. Bathrooms are very roomy. The property is quiet. Free continental breakfast is adequate enough for the price. Plenty of good coffee though. Internet connection is slow. Channel lineup includes Showtime, Showtime Extreme, and Movie Channel. Rodeway Inn offers low rates with decent amenities.
