We ordered a large thin crust, make your own pizza. And a calzone with meatballs. Meatballs weren’t any good we didn’t like it. It had a bad smell in it! The pizza was thin and crispy which we liked. A large pizza is for 4-5 person. The waitress was nice but barely you kind find her. We should wait 15-20 min only for asking for a box and check! Without drink or anything 60 bucks in total with tax and tip.
This was a much needed lunch break option for my friend and I. The atmosphere was perfect. The food was great. I loved it. I'll be back. There are vegan options. YAY Vegetarian options: There are vegan options. YES!!! Kid-friendliness: Children were present.
I love Romanos! Romanos has two sides to sit. I like sitting in the dinner area because the vibe is so relaxing. The music they play is immaculate. It’s more for adults and date night. We first got the bruschetta sampler I forgot to take it before eating it and it was really tasty and had different flavors. Then we got our insalata caprese which is the mozzarella, tomato and basil. Then of course our entres were super delicious and ended it with vanilla ice cream. Service was great as well, very nice server.
I had the linguine al pesto and it was delicious! My company had a minestrone soup and a bbq chicken pizza which they also enjoyed. The portions are good for the prices. The restaurant area has a casual but lively vibe and lots of TVs to catch a football game. It doesn't get as rowdy as your typical sports bar so you can still enjoy a conversation with your table. Vegetarian options: Most of the options on the pasta menu are vegetarian.
Wanted to have a good experience and find a local spot to enjoy good pizza. This wasn't it. There was a 35 minute wait which isn't amazing but would have been fine except that when we were seated, there were barely any other customers? Then it was a while before someone, who wasn't the server took the drink order. The server took the order and we hoped for better luck... but that wasn't in the cards. One of the people in our party didn't get their food... so as we waited and the pizza got cold we finally asked and somehow it never got made... don't know on what end the error happened. Well things were pretty irrevocably ruined at this point. Can't say if the pizza would have been good but at the time of eating, it wasnt... Not sure if it's always like this here but safe to say we don't plan on being repeat customers. In full transparency this was right after Christmas so not sure if that played into it but the Google review notification just popped up so this was prob about 2+ weeks ago
We went in to have lunch on our short lunch hour. Sat at the bar hoping for quick services since I have been a decade plus long customer. Was totally ignored for the first 15 minutes. The hostess saw us waiting at that point. I saw her tell the bar waitress as she pointed that we had been waiting a long time. The bar waitress, turned and started chatting with the dish washer for 5 minutes. So we got up and walked out. Never ever in all the years as a loyal high tip customer have I been treated like this. Like all the other eating establishments in Riverside California, they are all going down hill. I will praise when worthy on here and comment when you are not worthy. Riverside is quickly running out of choices. Oh, by the way, I went to El Patron in Riverside after that. Got excellent service and food very quickly. They have yet to let me down. Help Riverside eatery grow, leave accurate reviews.
Went there for late lunch today.. let’s just say, I will not be coming back. I won’t go into too much detail but, it was disappointing to say the least. Bad first impression with dirty glass on front door, with hostess just sitting there.. Women’s restroom was dirty & no toilet paper in at least one stall. The menus were dirty & sticky! It was not busy at all.. Our first pizza was burnt, so we waited over an hour & a half. The food was over priced & underwhelming to say the least. We made the best of it, but management needs to do better, way better!
Great pizza spot, bar, and quiet restaurant rolled into one. They have an atmosphere for every occasion. Pizza was good, but the personal pizza toppings kept sliding off so gotta watch your pizza grabbing skills... Kid-friendliness: Kids do love pizza
The food was really good, we'd never eaten here before. The service was okay, the waiter was really nice but he only gave us our drinks one time and did not offer us refills ever. The food was pretty expensive but wow it tasted delicious!
Place was nice, best part was having a cold beer while waiting for my pizza.. 48 dollars for 1 whatever pizza not even the deep dish! And 45 min wait is insane, go for the experience if you eat out.. for take away, there's better out there for 1/2 the price and waitFood: 3/5
