Great pizza place inside the food lab. Theres general seating everywhere, Bricks has a couple 2 person booths on the side which is nice, your removed from the chaos of the open seating area. Lots of covered outdoor seating also. Try the Ron Swanson. You won't go wrong. Large pizza is big enough for 2...maybe 3 people to share.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Best pizza you’ll ever eat served on a paper plate. So yummy. It’s overpriced but so is everything at the food lab. Never had a pie from them I didn’t love. Kids had basic cheese and pepperoni. I had the Ron Swanson which was good but I’m not sure it’s as good as some of their foo foo veggie ones. Yum.
I had the butternut ricotta my first time and it was great! This time i got the jalapeno popper! Getting the apple brie next!
This was my first time eating Bricks and Birch.. my daughter luvs pizza and that's what she wanted.. so we decided to try something new, it was worth every penny. The gentleman I placed my order with was polite and helpful with all my questions.. we ordered for pick up and when we got there he know who I was already.. that was coo.. the pizza was super yummy never had pizza cooked in a brick oven so tasty I'll definitely be back for another pie and some.. with many variations of topping and unique names for their specialty type pizza it's most assuredly a place to check out.. and not to mention my daughter luv'd it too
Taste of the pizza is pretty good, but the price is way too expensive for a 6-inch pizza, coming in at over $10 for essentially a kid sized pizza, the prices also don't seem entirely consistent with what's up on the menu. The total for 3 6-inch pizzas, a regular salad and a soda came in at $52. Additionally whoever the young man at the actual pizza oven is, he has this nonchalant look about him, which apparently caused us to recieve the wrong sized salad.
Took over 30 minutes for ONE 6 inch pizza that cost $14 and some people were waiting even longer. Even after 30 minutes it comes out burnt.Food: 1/5
Amazing pizza. I miss NY pizza, this is the second closest thing in CA. Update: I went to the one in Redlands and no good at all riverside is no longer the best pizza in town they have new cooks it’s spongy and not as tasty. No more cheat meals here for me. Update: 10/22 as a business owner myself my turn over is 200% because of reasons like this. You ask for a well done pizza and get a pale soggy pizza. I would understand the pain of the owner. Can’t get anyone to do a good job now a days.
This is Bricks and Birch inside the Food Lab in downtown Riverside, CA. It's a great pizza place that even has a real wood fired brick oven. I had a large meat lovers type pizza which was hot, freshly made and very yummy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are lots of good places to eat inside the Food Lab though it is a bit pricey. I look forward to trying all the other restaurants here.
I just tried their Pizza pepperoni with jalapenos looks like they use fresh jalapenos. It's really close to a perfect New York style pizza and I should know being in New York and living there a long time ago. 1990s or 10 years. I definitely won't go anywhere else for New York style pizza. Thank you guys
some of the best pizza i’ve ever had!! the cheese is delicious and melts in your mouth it’s amazing i really would recommend this place to more people
