So accommodating. Jessica let us conduct multiple visits with our DJ and bridal party. The balcony was perfect once the sun went behind the building. Wonderful venue.

The venue is beautiful! The large stair case leading to the ballroom turned out to be one of my favorite focal points. The ballroom is bigger than I imagined and has lovely wood details. The balcony is ample and served perfectly as the cocktail area as we transitioned the ballroom from ceremony to reception. In all it was a great deal for the price. If I could give a rating for the owner as well as the venue Jessica would receive 5 stars as well! She was very flexible when meeting with us, asked in detail about what we wanted (she brought up several things we hadn't considered which was a big help), and she was a big help the day of ensuring that everything was set up perfectly. Thank you so much Roof Garden for helping our big day to go smoothly and for providing such a lovely backdrop for our happy memories!

All my family and friends loved the venue. We got some great photos on the balcony. Jessica was awesome with helping me as I was planning my own wedding. Great experience and atmosphere.

I hate having to put negative reviews, especially for small business owners. Unfortunately, I just think when anyone is spending this amount of money on a venue for a special occasion it should be at least a “good” experience. Although the Roof Garden is an adorable venue on the strand, I would NOT recommend them to anyone. In the beginning it seemed like it was going to be a smooth operation when speaking with Juliet. However, after I sent my deposit it seemed like it was virtually impossible to get anyone to return my calls or emails. You will notice that I made previous posts on FB regarding the lack of response to my attempted contacts to the Roof Garden. There are other Brides that responded to my post with the same issue. I actually had another bride reach out to me via FB instant messenger asking if I was able to get through because her wedding was that upcoming weekend. She too could not get a hold of anyone. This made me incredibly nervous because of how close she was to her wedding and she still could not get through to anyone. As it got close to my wedding my mother-in-law and aunt wanted to go see the venue to figure out how they were going to complete the set up. At this time they had spoken to Juliet who then informed them that going forward, Jessica was going to be our point of contact. My mother-in-law and aunt then set up a time to meet with Jessica at the Roof Garden to review specifics for the layout. At this time they asked Jessica if we could change the set up time from 3pm-6pm to 10am-2pm. Jessica confirmed, stated yes and that she would be there to let them in. We thought all was going to be fine as we communicated with our point of contact “Jessica” specifically on the adjustment of time. The day of the wedding Jessica was not there at 10am as stated and reverted back to the contract saying she doesn’t ever recall the conversation that the three of them had. Jessica then came out after conversing with my family to allow them entry. The venue was a complete disaster and not cleaned prior to my family trying to complete the set up for our event. Since we were trying to juggle time and get set up we opted to go ahead and set up over the horrific mess left behind from the previous party. In addition to everything; our event started at 7pm and Jessica did not arrive until after 7pm! This really pissed me off!!! I was getting text messages from my guests that they were outside the venue and could not get in nor was the band that was hired for our party. Everyone was waiting outside until approximately 7:15pm. This is not acceptable!!! I challenge the Roof Garden to try and decline that this happen. I have numerous members from my party that can verify this! My favorite part was that after my event Jessica came in and steadily watched her clock. Really?! You were late opening the front door! My guests and band had to wait for you to arrive late! I am all about supporting local businesses however, when things are handled in such an unprofessional demeanor it needs to be addressed. My family, my guests, and I would NOT recommend Roof Garden or any other facility owned by this family. I am sad that I have to post such a negative review but I don’t want anyone else to have to deal with the chaos that we did. We have had many weddings in our very large family and none of them have been this bad of an experience. I recommend that you take your money elsewhere, where communication is important to the business owner and that they value their client/customer care. Unfortunately, this was my wedding experience and I can’t change what is already done. I am however able to warn those that are looking for a venue for their celebration and give you feedback on my experience. If I could redo my special day, I would have spent a little more money on a different venue.
