Very unhappy with the customer service at this business. I dropped my bicycle off for a simple flat tire repair, I was informed by the owner that it would be a couple of days until it would be ready, after several days I returned to see my bike untouched in the same spot I had left it, the owner again told me it would be a couple of more days due to the fact they were busier than normal. I returned to the business 11 days after initially dropping off the bicycle and was informed that he had not started working on it. I left with my bike and took it The Chain Gang in Redding, where they repaired it in less than an hour, without excuses and at a fraction of the cost. It sad to see local businesses treat customers so poorly because they know they have a monopoly being the only bike shop in the area. If I was a small town business owner I know I would work hard to compete work in the time promised, and work after hours if needed. On the bright side I am a happy customer of The Chain Gang in Redding, CA, more than worth the drive!

Wonderful service! I was in town visiting family and planning to ride the Southside Trail, but my gears were a bit messed up. The owner squeezed my bike into his schedule and I ended up having a spectacular ride! Thanks Rooptown Bikes!

Not a good or friendly retailer. Owner is duplicitous and seems not to be very honest.... a bit of a jerk.

Nick and crew totally helped me out in a pinch and got me back on the road in no time with excellent, friendly service. This place is a must for cycle tourists passing through the area.
