LOTS of parking, room for picnics, and running around. CLEAN bathrooms, a playground, and so much waterfront! As you drive in, turn left if you have a boat you want to get on the water.

Be advised if you don't have an Oregon Park Pass, you will have to pay at the pay station at the entrance or risk getting cited. If you regularly travel to Oregon State parks however, the yearly pass is a good value. This place is a wetland preserve as well as a park. Great to walk in but be advised, the east end of the park is clothing optional. Even though it is posted, the signs are small and easy to miss. The primary visitors in the clothing optional area are gay men. Although not exclusively. Access to the river can sometimes be difficult until the river levels drop enough for things to dry out. Here in 2017, there are many areas just becoming reachable at the end of July.

Gorgeous beautiful area. Lovely place to take a stroll or just look at the scenery.
