I ate at Rosey Baby on a semi-regular basis. Their beer defection is astounding. My fiancée and I got to know one waiter and he treats us well every time. We mainly go for the beer, but stay for the food. The food is a debated topic, but once you find something I like, I stick to it.

Decided to try someplace different to eat and based on the menu choices, Rosey Baby's in Starkville was it. B-A-D choice!! We arrived round 9pm, ordered appetizer and we ordered blackened shrimp platter and a shrimp and sausage basket with beverage; bill was $56... First, waiter informed us they didn't have fixings for salad. Next, the blooming Cajun onion ($9) was lost on the saucer which it was plated. Then the boiled shrimp was extremely overcooked and the blackened shrimp had so much seasoning on them it literally took my breath. Our waiter never returned to check on us or refill, until he brought the check. He then blamed his neglect on the fact he was busy waiting on his table outside as if we were a bother!! His nonchalant attitude and blatant indifference to my complaints simply floored me. To say the least, thought of spending that much for a baked potato is ludacris! I will never go back and encourage you to keep driving

I went in last night at about 9 o'clock to eat at Rosey babies. I have been in here several times and have always enjoyed my stay. But tonight I went in with my girlfriend and we ate a small meal together and after I had a bill of $22.87. Our waiter brought back $5 and change giving himself a $2 tip. I planned to give him all of the change from the $30 we paid but after he took it upon himself to give himself a tip that was all he was going to get. I felt bad for not leaving a tip but when employees steal from customers what can you do.

Had crawfish, they were not fresh, They were frozen and then boiled. The staff was awesome.
