The food has been good. I normally get the 1/2 chicken with baked beans and okra. Very yummy. Also their sweet tea is pretty good and I'm picky about my tea. My son likes the chicken tenders and waffle fires. The pulled pork is goid also, my husband likes it. Word of caution though. If you go during a busy time be prepared to wait a while. They are very popular.

A must visit if you are in Starkville looking for local culture. The food is amazing! Atmosphere is fun. Great great place.

Great food and people. Little Dopey has been a bucket list place for decades for anyone wanting great food and atmosphere. Just enjoyed some time home with my Dad and his friends with food ranging from shrimp(boiled/fried), oysters, catfish, pulled pork, bake beans, pirate salad, fried pickles, sweet potatoes fries, etc... All were came and left happy. This is BIG game day apot with pictures of Tim Tebow, Dal Prescot, etc...on the walls. Highly recommend whenever you are in the Starkville area.

It's pretty incredible. I've tried catfish po'boy, collard greens and pulled chicken. All great.

The BBQ was great and the delta tamales were even better. Restaurant has great personality.
