I’m honestly appalled by the service that my friend received from this salon. She scheduled an appointment to have her hair and makeup done for prom, but she politely asked if she could have a trial run before spending $115 there on something that might not be what she wants. The lady, Marisa Rogers, agreed to do a trial run, but failed to mention that the so-called “trial” (which is typically considered an opportunity to try something for FREE) would cost my friend $100 until AFTER she had finished applying the makeup and doing her hair. Not only did she expect the $100, but the makeup was definitely NOT even worth $10. Yet, my friend felt cornered and eventually gave up the $100, despite the fact that she DID NOT deserve it. 
When my friend relayed this story to me and a few others, it was obvious that she had been conned out of $100 for something that A) should have been free and B) looked like the work of a novice. After we encouraged her to reach out to Marisa and ask for at least half of her money back, she replied that my friend should have assumed the trial would cost money. While it would have been ideal in this situation for my friend to ask if the trial would cost anything, it should not have been expected of her to know to ask since, as I stated before, a trial typically insinuates “free”. Plus, it is the job of the employee to relay any important information (such as prices) to their customers in order to avoid any confusion/problems. 
Therefore, while my friend may not have been able to obtain a refund, I hope this review may help prevent this from occurring to anyone else in the future. Especially since they’ve handled this particular situation in a less than professional manner.

Marisa is a wizard with color and she does it to perfection. My hair hasn’t looked that good in my entire life as it did the day I left the salon. She can work miracles with mousy dull hair!

We were told it would be $20 dollars each to have our hair dried and curled and then when it came time to pay the price was double, almost triple the amount. One stylist had told us the price and made our appointment with another stylist as she was not available that day. When asked about the price discrepancy at time of payment, we were told simply that yeah, she should have told us the price would be different but failed to tell us and that basically it didn’t matter and we would not be getting our money back. Upon leaving a review on their Facebook page, they began calling me classless and immature and that the review was harassment. They continued to make false allegations and use entirely unprofessional responses. I thanked them for their time and said I would be taking action further and they threatened me with their lawyer. 
Overall, it was false advertising and not handled well. We would not have made the appointment if we had known the true price. This salon is not professional.

Laurin is da-bomb! She will go out of her way to understand your desire of hairstyle. Whether you understand what you mean or not lol! She has tried and true patience and a sweet energy to match. Give her a shot!

I have curly hair that not everyone knows how to style and cut.  Love what Ashley has done with my hair.  She is great! Colored and highlights; she will do what you request.  Highly recommend her.
