ALI WAS THE RUDEST MANAGER/OWNER EVER!! I'LL NEVER TAKE MY CHILDREN TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!! My 14 yr old daughter is performing in the parade in Rancho Bernardo today. Their school decided to eat at Round Table pizza. I had to drop them off in order to find a parking spot and a seating area for the parade because it was getting packed. When my children ordered their food they called me and told me what they ordered. I asked them why was it so much and if they told the cashier that they were part of the high school group. They said yes and that the manager got upset with them when they asked to get the same thing as the group ordered because their total was higher than what others ordered. They just wanted a refund or to change the order. He told them no because he was already making the order. The manager's name is Ali, who also happens to be the owner. My 18 yr old daughter called me and told me that he was very rude to them and kept cutting her off while she was trying to explain the situation. So I called him and he was rude to me as well. He yelled at me, cut me off, and said "you people" are not getting your money back and I'm not making anything for any of you because that's not how that works around here. I told him I would be calling corporate and that I would be coming there to speak with him in person to get our money back. He said you don't get it do you! He then said do whatever you want but you're not getting anything and hung up the phone. I called my children and told them what happened just in case he tried to say something else to them. I was walking over there when my children told me they were leaving. I should have went over there anyway to see his face, but we had to get my daughter ready for her performance. THAT WAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED! And then for him to say "you people" made me just cringe. Ali is disrespectful, rude, racist, and money hungry. DON'T EAT HERE!!

This place has been open forever. Classic to anyone who grew up in the area. Lost a star due to much of its old character missing. Bring back the painted walls!!

On May 16 at 5 pm I went to the round table Pizza in Rancho Bernardo in San Diego CA for my daughter and her soccer league. The restaurant was not busy at that time and there was plenty of seating. Shortly after we sat down an associate told us that there was several groups arriving between 5:30 and 7pm and that they would be filling up a majority of the tables as they had reservations, although we all had already paid. She then proceeded to tape up names on envelopes around the tables with names and times. When we asked her what we should do as we had already paid for the buffet which was not fully prepared she said she wished us luck keeping our table, she offered no resolution. Our group and children had started eating and we were told to move up to a other area where the group would not be arriving until 7pm. So we gathered our food and our kids to this separate area. At 5:45 another woman came up screaming a name asking if we were the group that made reservations. We calmly told her no we were told we could sit in this area until 7. She cut us off and said the group was there and we needed to leave the area immediately. Although at this point the restaurant has reached maximum capacity and there was not enough seating. She was rude and impatient and offered no solution to the fact we were in the middle of eating and had paid for the buffet. We have always been loyal customers of round table for all of our team gatherings for various team events in the community. I also order from this location for my family multiple times a month. I have never seen such a lack of respect and customer service. It was appalling and atrociously aggressive. I will not be returning nor will I be a loyal customer any longer.

The pizza tastes fantastic, just a little pricey. Definitely one of the best pizza places in San Diego!
