I used to love going to this place when they first opened. However me and two of my friends drove up to Exton last night from Pottstown, which is a good 40 minute drive. We we're expecting to just spend the night playing some games. When we got there, the entire establishment was not excepting credit/debit cards. There was a huge line at the counter and we waited 15 or 20 minutes to talk to customer service, at which point they just said "We're only accepting cash, there is an ATM upstairs in the mall." Well we went all the way to the ATM and there was a $4.00 surcharge, on top of the $4.00 charge from my bank it wasn't worth it for me to pay $8.00 for their convenience. Anyway we walked around the mall for an hour then came back hoping the issue would be solved. It was not solved, I asked an employee if they knew if the system would be back up soon, he said "yeah just wait about an hour." Probably not going back to this place. I would have even been happy if they just gave me $5 or $10 worth of complimentary game points to keep us busy until the system was back online. The employee's did not know how to handle this situation and my friends and I all wasted our night. It was not fun. I do not recommend this place.

The games are fun and the inside is clean, the only thing that bothers me is that you can't have alcohol in the karaoke room yet they advertise their draft deals on the table in the room. Though they try to make up for this by having a table right outside the room to leave your drinks on, which seems very unsafe to me. So if you just want games it's fairly cool but if you wanna karaoke drive to the city and find a place that will allow you to bring your drink to the room

Fun place to go for all ages. Our bartender Kenny was very courteous and competent. The food is good and not greasy. Drinks are cheap compared to other places. Big variety of games. Would come back again.

Massive arcade with a huge selection, especially if you are into rhythm games (they have everything). Games are priced appropriately and kept in pretty good condition. If you like arcades or specific Japanese arcade games, this is the place to go. While I was here however, the servers which run the game card scanners were down for a few hours but the staff were calm and helpful, I was even refunded my credits that I spent. I would drive the 3.5 hours here any day. Just hopefully with working servers.

A friend of my boyfriend's has been to Round 1 Japan, which is where Round 1 originated from, and he says it's so much better. And I believe him, things in Japan are just different. Now I wouldn't come here if you're trying to get a round of drinks in, why? Because this place is crawling with people who want to play Japanese games here, a lot of us nerds you could say. I barely saw that many kids on Saturday afternoon to evening, but a lot people who appreciate Japanese video games, claw machines, and photobooths are to be spotted. I've seen some people with a drink in their hand and playing games, but barely any, most of them either were playing bowling or pool. Now the great thing about Round 1 is the fact it does have Japanese games to play, but it doesn't have as many Japanese games as Japan does. The rest of the games are pretty much games you can find at any Dave & Buster's location. The tickets and cards all work the same as D&B as well. I, alone, spent $110. My boyfriend spent $140, and so on and so forth. But we were here for hours!!! The one thing I recommend though, don't dress warm. I brought a sweater because it was cool outside the day we came, and I was sweating inside. But then again I was running around like a child having fun. The claw games are not rigged. The Japanese are known to make you use your brain while you play. Therefore, it really is a matter of aligning the claw to push the plush in rather than trying to pick it up. And if it gets stuck in the hole, get one of the workers to pull it out. They will do so. We left with a trunk load by the end of the night, and the photo I included was just the beginning of it. I was so happy, and they are in fact really fluffy! The photobooths were tons of fun! They are a must to anyone who is visiting, with your friends, boyfriend, or even by yourself, no shame! They're just that great. I'll be coming back every couple of weeks as a stress reliever from school. Can't wait to see what Round 1 Japan is like when I go next May to back Japan.
