This Rouses is convenient for me to get to, and quick to check out. It's a nice size as well which I like. The reason I'm only giving 3 stars is because I have found that when I go and buy meat, I have about a 50% chance that the meat I buy is bad when I get home and open the package. This gets very frustrating and it's super dangerous (not to mention wastes my grocery budget) so that's what compelled me to write a review (which I pretty much never do).  I've had to throw out many packages of meat from here because it looks fine on the outside, and when opening the package it's rotten. :(

Went in for a salad at their salad bar and they did not have much for options. Most of the real estate was take up by the soups, salad dressings, or other products not having to do with making a salad. Their hot bar had even less of a selection which I was thinking of closing instead. If you want a good salad bar and hot foods, go to the Whole Foods down the block.

Since we live in Georgia we always do a major stock up run at Rouses the day before we leave La. They always have a excellent selection of everything that we want and are looking for. We stock up on things from andouille sausage to Barq’s red cream soda and a great many things in between. We never leave there without anything on our list and many more things not on it!!!

I came in for their salad bar, but it was very small with a few choices besides a few of the basics of a salad. They did have 4 soup options which was nice. Their hot bar was very small too, so not many options to select from. Other then that, the grocery shopping there is always nice and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Great neighborhood grocery, carries local favorites. Prices a little high, but much faster than the big box places!
