First time at this location and was very impressed. I was assisted by 2 people in the framing area, who helped me make a decision and took care of my painting. It came out beautiful.

Considering I used to work at a Michael's in Shreveport years ago I may be biased in saying that the Shreveport one is more easy to navigate. This one always has what I need though, so I may need to get used to how it's designed. The staff could use some more training on register however because it always seems to take a long time at the register even though the line is generally short.

You can get what you need here, craft wise, and I prefer it to Hobby Lobby on ethical grounds, but I have had issues. It is somewhat difficult to find what you need here, the isles are narrow, poorly marked, and oddly organized at times. The biggest issues are with the staff, however. They seem chronically understaffed. There's always a wait to check out, and they seem to have only enough employees working at one time to run the registers. Good luck finding someone to show you where things are or help you look for the right item.
