Finally this destination has gotten the recipe right!  I have watched it flounder for 35 years and am delighted with the new reinvention.   Wonderful, world-class shops, fun restaurants and amusing setup, the Royal is now a fresh destination in Palm Beach.  Parking available, unlike Worth Avenue, and has a young, relaxed feel to it.   Collectives is a great new shop that features various designers like Zimmerman and Christa’s Seashell Jewelry, Hermès, YSL and many more.  Honor Bar has A-class bar food and St Ambrose offers elegant dining outside.  There’s even a new taco bar with superb Margaritas!  Don’t miss this when you visit Palm Beach

TRANSITION is good. Finally there seems to be a new owner/manager with a high end vision. Roads have been paved and traffic flow thought out.....looks good but takes a little getting used to. New tenants are upgrading. In the end, this is not a "destination". You go because there is a store or a restaurant you want to visit. More to follow.

Great decor. Outstanding food. Cooks and Chef cadre were world-class. Bartenders were a little "thirsty". Got approached by a bartender asking if I was going to have dinner a BUNCH of times. Evidentially she knew everyone but me. A 5-star bartender wouldn't care. 5-star bartenders play chess when this bartender was playing checkers.  Had to buy a steak so I could enjoy my wine. Been to better. Been to worse.

Parking can be difficult.  There is a great Two Jays restaurant here too.
