The movers were professional, careful, on-time and were completely up-front about any and all charges. In all, usingRoyal Transportation was probably the least stressful part of an inherently stressful activity. They did a fantastic job and were very friendly. I would recommend them to anyone!

criminals.  destroyed my furniture.  Absolutely, unequivocally, one of the worst consumer experiences of my life.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They broke my furniture, lost some of my boxes, arrived to deliver at 11:30pm (they left at 3:30AM!), they overcharged me, and they cursed at me when I called to talk to the manager. I even had to call the police and file a report because they refused to finish unloading my stuff when they saw how upset I was over the state of my things.

The legs were broken off all of my tables (except my coffee table). They broke my vanity in half, which is solid oak and over one hundred years old. My boxes were busted at the seams from being dropped.  They broke my bookshelves too. 

Further, the delivery men were boys. The driver had an expired license and the assistant was an illegal immigrant from Israel, according to the police report. Once they had finally finished unloading my stuff they insisted I sign a form stating that I had received all my things and that they were in good condition. It was 3:30AM in the morning - I told them that there was no way I could sign their form until I had the chance to examine my things and count my boxes. They refused to leave my house until I signed! Imagine, 2 strange teenager/adult men refusing to leave your house at 3:30 in the morning unless you sign a document forfeiting your rights to file a claim against the company. It was insane and illegal.

These people are bullies and deserve to be shut down. They charged me for all kinds of additional things, running up the total bill to nearly twice the original estimate! Every time I have called to speak to a manager or boss I am sent to a new person with a different name. In the end, this company is involved in highly unethical business practices, some of which I would think are illegal.

The delivery was scheduled to occur around 3:30pm on 8/17, they arrived at 11:30. Midway through unloading they stopped, insisting that I had to pay them up front before they would continue - this was not in the contract. I called the police and a report was filed. They began unloading at the request of the police, at which point I gave them $750 in cash. The driver had an expired licence and his assistant was an illegal immigrant from Israel (in police report).  My things were smashed and broken. Pieces of furniture that had been wrapped in blankets had been dragged so much that the legs of tables and chairs were sticking out through holes worn in the packing blankets.  A solid oak vanity had been broken in half, the legs of two of my other tables had been broken off, and my bookshelves had holes punched in them! My boxes were tearing at the seams and spilling contents.  I had to unwrap my furniture, a task they charged me for, in order to get them out of my house faster.  When they finished it was 3:30 in the morning. I was upset, exhausted, and had work soon. They demanded I sign a form stating all my things had arrived in good condition. I told them I could not sign as I hadn't had the opportunity to properly examine my things nor count my boxes (some of which I know now were missing).  They said I had to sign and refused to leave until I did. I didn't know what to do, I signed and wrote on the form that I could not attest to the state of my things.
