So getting to aspen isn't that bad in fact I like taking the bus up to aspen so I can rest between jobs. However leaving on the 10:15pm  Bus back to Glenwood Spring is something I've had problems with for a long time. They give us the smallest bus and cram everyone inside and all you can do is stand on a bus doing in some spots 65mph. Very safe I say. My biggest problem is that if you job closes at 10 it give you no time to get on the bus before it leaves. But you can catch the next bus in an hour to get home. Mind you I like so in the right thing by not driving and taking up space on the roads and wasting gas. But with this the same story every night this time of the year I almost just want to start driving again. Thanks to RFTA to being smart and not give us a bigger bus to handle the volume. And reviewing surveys cause I have said this in all the surveys they give.

If you're going to Maroon Bells from Aspen, you can purchase ticket here with cash ($8) and take the Castle Maroon bus to Highland Aspen (free).

Free bus service to Aspen Highlands for those who plan to visit Maroon bells thereafter. The Transit center staff was helpful in assisting with bus schedules.
