Elliot and Mary Jo take such great care of the guests. You can work on puzzles while you wait. Great for men and women. Welcoming, fun atmosphere. Easy access and parking behind the building. I look forward to my haircuts.

The people at Rubies care! I have been getting facials, color, and styling at Rubies for years. I get so many compliments on my hair color... Elle is the master. Not only does Elle color and style my hair to perfection he helps me choose the best Surface products to keep my hair healthy and beautiful. People will just come up to me and ask me about my hair... at the store, in restaurants, at the gas station, even on the street. It always makes me feel special. People also have a hard time guessing my age... Mary Jo and facials are to thank for that. Mary Jo advises me how to handle all skin care issues and recommends the right Dermalogica product to handle each. She even helped my son handle acne issues.

Fantastic for people with curls! I have pencil tight 3b curls and have been terrified of salons for years. But Rubies was amazing! Karrie genuinely understands curly hair - she knows how to avoid triangle head, she understands that wet curls get much shorter when they dry, she gives great scalp massages (haha), and on and on. She knows how to work with curls like mine, which is super rare, and she's not the only one in the salon. The other stylists understand curls as well. It's the perfect place for those with naturally curly hair. And a big bonus is that everyone there is super sweet and the salon is cozy and full of amazing local artwork. Also, they only use natural products. The only issues with Rubies is the lack of parking. If you know the area then you know how tight it is over there. Leave early so you can hunt down parking. But all in all I am in love with Rubies.
