I thought I would just leave a quick complement to the manager at this Rubio’s. The gentleman there is very accommodating friendly and makes you really feel welcome. Total contrast to the restaurant right next-door and I also eat regularly we’re feels like they would just assume you not be there and they don’t wanna be there either.
After a long day of work, my 7yr old and I stopped in to pick up some food for dinner. I purchased $35 worth of food I paid extra for veggies and shrimp and even tipped the cashier. Then I ordered a beer for myself and a soda for my son while we waited for our food. We were there for awhile eating chips and finishing our drinks even though the food came out pretty quickly. When I got home I found that they did NOT put any shrimp in our bowl, so I called the restaurant to tell them about it and see if I could get some kind of compensation such as a free bowl in the future etc. Instead, I was told I could only get a refund if I ordered online and then he asked if I had my receipt to prove it....even though we had just left. He said since we didn't order online, there's nothing he could really do about it. We frequent Rubios, not usually this one though, but both times we have, I end up paying for food I don't receive. Lesson learned. Do yourself a favor and go to another location.
Special of the day was their original fish taco. Good but not as good as the ones at Mocahita..Food: 4/5
Love their shrimp tacos! So tasty. Servings were also generous for the chips.
3RD time ordering food from this location , and 3rd time my order has not been correct. Completely the wrong thing and not even close. Terrible. Polite staff, but absolutely incompetent. Will be going elsewhere.
Showed up at the time they said and still waited another 10 minutes. So much for ordering aheadFood: 5/5
This is THE Best location of Rubio's! They fry the fish expertly and every filet I've had it fantastic. I've been to other locations which are soggy. Not here! Kudos! and keep up the great Fish Tacos!!
Fish and Shrimp Trio Tacos are flavorful
Just tried to order food there and I didn’t have a mask. I was the only one ordering food or eating there. The cashier told me I had to get out cause I didn’t have a mask. There the only place I have been to that has enforced mask rule. Which at the end of the day whatever but don’t tell me to get out. Either offer me a paper one or figure out some way to help…
Came here with my brother and wasn't too packed on the inside but had tons of orders being called in and ready to go on the call in and mobile order section of the store. One lady was so mean, yelling at the cashier and he was so nice, respectful & accommodating to her. As we were called up to get our food, what I presume is the manager on duty asked the cooks, do we have enough salmon for 12 salmon burritos? They were closing in less than an hour. These people work their butts off & get chewed out. Gave them a big tip, they are the best, hope they get a raise for all they have to put up with & working through it with a smile and so nice.
