Jenny took a last minute reservation and saved me from the Motel 8. Breakfast was awesome. I rate BNB's by my overall experience vs. my room rate. So the Rumble Seat gets a solid 4 Stars in my book. Definetely would stay here again.

This is a bit long winded, but stay with me... While on a back-roads, middle Georgia tour (on a Saturday during Memorial Day weekend), we stopped in Barnesville for a bite and some antiquing. We soon realized that we had terminal car problems. A few phone calls revealed the following: A) no service for the car until Tuesday (due to Memorial Day weekend) B) not a rental car within a thousand miles (due to Memorial Day weekend) C) Barnesville, GA is somewhat short on hotel/motels (it's Barnesville, o.k.?) While mulling over our situation at a local grill (excellent catfish!), we googled 'Bed and Breakfasts', and found out that there are two B&B's in town. We approached the gal at the diner to get an opinion on which we should choose, and before the question was fully out of my mouth, she stated "Stay with Jenny". Okey doke. that's settled. Called Jenny, and was told to come on over. WOW...beautiful Victorian home filled with wonderful appointments that impress all the more the closer you look. Super comfy bed? Check! Gorgeous bath with shower AND claw foot tub with spray attachment? Check! Cool antique gravity-fed commode that works better than mine? Check! There are an array of porches for your quiet reflection purposes, including one next to a water feature/koi pond. ...and on-site chickens! You've never had such delightful eggs as these... Oh yeah, did I mention that Jenny is a chef who schooled in America, France, Italy and Russia?! Incredible surroundings, an even more incredible staff (Jeffrey is one of the most welcoming, wonderful "strangers" we have ever met), made our stay at Rumbleseat the happiest accident we have ever experienced. The lovely citizenry of Barnesville only served to heighten the experience. Come. Stay. You may find yourself shopping for a home here ! Pam and Larry Harlen (Panama City, FL)
