Your employees are lovely human beings. After getting so lucky as to get a flat tire on a Friday afternoon as I'm parking in front of this restaurant, I informed the employees at the restaurant. He said it wouldn't be a problem that i was stationed there for a bit. I called for a tow but the employees came out offering to help in changing the tire. As I was already waiting, I truly didn't want to burden the young men. They continuously checked in on me and my 2 kids waiting outside. They even made sure we were hydrated in this FL heat. A million thank yous to your employees, they deserve the very best!

Where do I start . Walking in to the restaurant I was very well received and the own and his son couldn't have been any nicer... service was great...but I can for the food and I was HUNGRY.  They had a good amount of options and luckily for me the had all my favorites. I had the baked chicken, Mac n cheese and canned yams with the cornbread...OMG the cornbread was sweet, soft and oh so moist...the Mac and Cheese is probably the best Mac I've bought over the counter hands down. The chicken and yams where EPIC. The rice was alright.. probably the ONLY basic thing I ate. I was down there for the holidays but I definitely plan on returning before I leave. From the moment we entered we were greated by 2 young men who were very nice and working hard. A pleasant departure from the norm today. The food was on point to say the least. Fresh fried chicken, black eyed peas, mac and cheese, lime beans and greens each outdid the other. We will be back.Food: 5/5

Let me start off by saying they have the best fried pork chops in Dade County. I always get the fried pork chops with smothered gravy over rice. If you’re looking for a good soul food restaurant check out Antie Ruth. The customer service was excellent.Food: 5/5

Slowly driving by heading home during rush hour, I noticed lots of carry out. Came in to have lunch and the atmosphere and food were great! Fried chicken, baked chicken, and ribs was what we enjoyed. Sides were collard greens, okra, green beans, corn, rice and corn bread. Look forward to coming back!

Maybe they were just having a rough day with no experienced cooks in the kitchen. But the food was extremely salty. We had to toss it out because the greens, the fried chicken, the rice and even the mac and cheese… it wasn’t consumable. Maybe it was just that day, but the customer service itself and the atmosphere was nice.Food: 1/5

The service was exceptional. They were still in their first week when a friend and I went, so they were still working on their portions and the demand for them. They were sold out of almost everything!  We are planning to go again, we want to try their ribs, cornbread, collared greens, and more of their amazing sweet tea.

I chose this restaurant yesterday because online reviews and pictures price was ok so I’m like might be good ! Nooo!! I was wrong completely wrong ! Ok I ordered a catfish dinner and fried chicken both with white rice yams and Mac &cheese the chicken skin was tough like they fried it in old oil the fish was SO M’Fin SALTY  ! The max and cheese Lordt i feel like they cooked that like two days before or something because it was burnt bottom and burnt cheese don’t make sense ! It’s already no good food in homestead like do better !.
