We offer 24-hour emergency care, a mobile intensive care unit with experienced, certified paramedics, critical care, emergency angioplasty, telemetry, cardiac, stress testing and other cardiac diagnostic testing, plus pulmonary and cardiac rehabilitation. We offer a full range of diagnostic services, as well as neurology, surgery, and a pediatric emergency room. We are a state-designated primary stroke center.
We have a wound care center with hyperbaric chambers, a comprehensive diabetes management program and a peripheral neuropathy program.
Our campus includes a 24-bed subacute hospital for patients needing rehabilitation before they return home. It also includes Kindred Hospital New Jersey - Rahway, a 36-bed long-term, acute care hospital for medically complex patients who need intense specialized treatment for an extended period. The hospital is renowned for its rehabilitation services. Physical and aquatic therapy are available in our fitness centers located in Scotch Plains and Carteret.
