I thought I finally found a reasonable credit union. Nope. These guys take the cake with absurd treatment of customers. So I get behind on a loan payment (30 days) and they threaten to repo the collateral already after 35 days. So I agree to make the payment on a certain day and they said that was acceptable and agreed to not repo the car. So I schedule the loan through my account online to be paid on the date we agreed. Well imagine my surprise later in the day I scheduled the payment when my checking account gets locked for 24 hours and the payment was not made. When I find this out I'm in a town an hour from home trying to file a court claim with the fee and I can't because these idiots locked my primary source of money. As if that's not bad enough, I asked a lady over the phone how to resolve this at the moment. Dingbat doesn't offer to make the transfer to get the  account unlocked. Nope, it's just 'your account is locked until you make the payment'. So I get home and try to make the payment LIKE THE DINGBAT TELLS ME TO and oh my I can't make the transfer myself. So I had to call SC Telco back again and tell miss dingbat again what's going on and 'oh that's right your account is locked I will have to make the transfer' says miss dingbat. GEE THANKS FOR WASTING MY TIME. GUESS WHO'S PULLING OUT ALL THEIR MONEY AND CLOSING THEIR ACCOUNT AND GOING TO BACK TO SunTRUST. Because I can't trust credit unions with their ridiculous holds on deposits and constant and unnecessary request for ID"s during deposits. And now it's 'oh we'll put a surprise lock on your checking account if you go 35 days past due with us even if you have an arrangement with us made. The cheap loan rates and ridiculous standards (THIRTY FIVE DAYS???) are not worth the hassles. How much sense does it make to lock the account from which you want the customer to make a payment?????? ADIOS AND GOOD RIDDANCE.

Before getting a loan or opening an account, please note that should you ever call. you will have a wait time of at least 10-15 minutes. No apologies, just "a heavy volume of calls". It doesn't seem to matter when you call
