S.Y. Kitchen was created and developed by Toscana, Bar Toscana owners, Kathie & Mike Gordon along with Chef Luca Crestanelli. The restaurant and wine bar opened April 18, 2013. The restaurant has been described as "a California version of a little Italian farmhouse", complete with a "hitching post". The restaurant has three dining areas, the Front Room (bar); the Porch (very sexy) and the Dining Room which includes a beautiful family table and will host private parties.
There is outdoor dining in "The Courtyard" as well as a sweet alcove with a cozy sofa and beautiful fire pit for guests waiting for tables or simply wanting to sip a glass of wine while the sun sets.
Thursday nights feature "Open That Bottle Night" when corkage is waived (2 bottle limit) for any Santa Barbara County wines brought in to enjoy with purchase of dinner.
Our "Italian Breakfast" is served on Sundays from 10am - 2pm with a delicious array of dishes created by Chef Luca.
S.Y. Kitchen is closed on the following holidays: Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Fourth of July
