Story

Get your morning started off right with one of our gourmet breakfast items served all day with fresh fruit. Sandwiches(wraps available) are served with your choice of fresh fruit, pasta salad, homemade soup(vegetarian), or mixed green salad. Our bakery will make your mouth water with our selection of delicious cookies, croissants, palmier Italian cookies, bagels, muffins, and much more. My family love Sacks on the beach. We have been going there for breakfast or brunch almost every weekend for many years. The food is fresh and tastes homemade. The waiters are friendly. The atmosphere is very casual and relaxing. I hope it never changes.

The sandwiches and breakfasts are good. The location is small, hard to get a seat in a busy weekend morning. Close to the beach, great to take a walk after you eat. Recommend ordering ahead by phone if you can to save the time in line.

The coffee was good, but nothing special. The pastry was a bit dry, but it was after 12:00 noon. My main complaint is the entrance to this shop reeks of old stale cigarette smoke. It is less than a block to the beach. No one wants to be overwhelmed by that stale smoke smell when you can see the water from the entry. You'd think if the shop was going to permit its small patio entry & tables to be taken over daily by smokers, that they'd hose it off or something. $$

Great place to study, even on a Saturday morning during brunch time. Street parking wasn't too hard to find on the side streets at 10am. Inside, they have a lot of seating options upstairs, downstairs, tables, stools, armchairs, and it wasn't hard to find available electrical outlets. Topping it all off, the staff is friendly, and the food is good!

We enjoy the veggie omelet with chicken, a bowl of oatmeal, and a gluten free scone to share. After our walk, the protein smoothies are a great! Nice staff. Gets busy, so be prepared to wait.
