Anyone remember the 80s film "Nothing But Trouble"? That's what Saddle Brook court is like. Except he doesn't invite you to dinner after he's done screwing you. His honor runs his bench like a common criminal, doling out maximum fines for common non criminal offenses. I've had the pleasure of defending myself in this court and many others in NJ. Going to traffic court is never fun, and if you're there, you're probably guilty of something and should expect to pay a fine. Saddle Brook shows no mercy and defaults to the maximum penalty, while almost every other judge in every other court charges you with the minimum, unless of course there are exceptional circumstances. This is to be expected. My question is, if this judge hands out maximum penalties for common circumstances, what would he do to someone who's situation demanded a harsher punishment? Would he go around the guidelines of the law to ensure justice in his eyes is served? After my experience I simply want nothing to do with this judge and his condescending staff. How do I ensure I never have to see this filth again? Simple. Do not drive through or do business with anyone in this corrupt borough. Stay far away.
