I sincerely love this park. It's very big, doesn't get too crowded, and has some great fishing spots! It's definitely a great place to go for fishing, or walking/jogging. Or just to sit and enjoy nature. I would highly recommend it!

A great place to jugging, walk, bike, or just relax from your own car looking  at the small lake strategically set in the middle of the park from provided parking (inside the park). Clean bathroom and playground and also loaded with appealing pathways. It makes you feel to get in a hurry for the spring to come and yet get addicted to it.

Not a place to go to get away. Not expansive enough to be a walk in nature. Ok for a dog walk. Probably designed like most NJ parks- not enough land but designated as such- technically- to qualify for  state & federal tax dollar expenditures. Surrounded by and carries the feel of urban glut. Serves it's purpose as a good employment opportunity for relatives of local politicians.

Absolutely love this place.  The kids can get a nice long bike ride through a forest type setting.  residential areas are mostly hidden away from view, which is nice.  You can see a couple small ponds/creaks/waterfall, deer, dogs, geese, and ducks along the trails sometimes.  There are also a few playgrounds along this long path, which is a great break for kids and parents.  The only reason for the 4 rating is that the trails can get packed and it doesn't look like path updates have been a priority... but really minor gripe.

Ridgewood duck pond playground was clean and dry - even in a beautiful winter day. I was surprised at how well kept it was during "low season."
