Best BBQ in Lansing. Tops in my book when compared to others beyond the Lansing area, too. The staff, service, and the overall atmosphere are all top notch. Watch for special menu offerings because they serve some unique items every so often.

We come here all the time, can't get enough of their brisket and Mac and cheese. Saddleback catered our wedding, and not only did they do a fantastic job and helped us through the whole process, but our guests RAVED about the food. I can't count how many people (from all over the country) came up to me to tell me it was the best barbecue they'd ever had. A big group of our wedding guests went to an event catered by Detroit's famous Slow's BBQ the following weekend and everyone said Saddleback was better. Bonus is you rarely have to wait at Saddleback, while at Slow's you may have a wait of multiple hours. Food keeps really well as leftovers, too.

Loved it. They even made a mistake on our order, but the food was top notch and so was the service.  Hot mustard was best I've had.

If authentic barbecue is your thing, you need to visit Saddleback!  Tasty ribs, burnt ends, etc. with tasty sides.  Seating is limited and prices are a bit on the high end, but the food is authentic and tasty, served by friendly and efficient workers eager to please.

One of my fallback BBQ places in the Capital City. Nice smoke to their meats. If you're a "Pepper Head" like me, which is a disappoinment for my husband because most of the sides have some element of a chili pepper like jalapeño, the peppery sides give their 'Que a good compliment. Hey there early, especially on Burnt Ends Friday, because they will run out... And quick!
