Love this place from the pharmacy to floral to the meats. Great produce, prices and quaint fines.. always so clean n organized..Not recommended at night if you want to be in and out. There is no cashier help and lines get ridiculous. Just at night tho which is the only bummer

The store is super convenient to me, but every time I go, the lines are ridiculously long and I am forced to wait too long. They need to have more cashiers at night and I don't know why they can't figure that out. The store is usually in stock with most items except maybe for great sale items. Just don't go at night, or you'll be in line forever.

This was one of the better safe ways I have been in. It was clean and everything was in its place, and it made it for an easier way to find my way through the store even though I had never been there before. The meat in the butcher shop was fresh although the dish was labeled previously frozen. They had a 10% discount for seniors which I guess they do one day a month although this was the second day that they had done it for this month. I believe that the clerk mentioned something about it being the first Wednesday of the month but I would check that first

Safeway has gr8 produce and bakery items, it's also only a ½ mile from my apt. However I prefer a different grocery store with more friendly employees. I was taking a few photos of the floral dept when the lady that ran that dept told me to stop. I was not allowed to do that. Fry's has the friendliest workers who remember my name & always have kind words to say & you can tell they are sincere. Not this Safeway. Too bad.🙁

I love Safeway for the fastest checkout lanes of any other grocery stores here I Arizona. If they have more than 3 people waiting in line, they call for another cashier to ring additional customers up. Very efficient And they are so courteous at the same time. Their pharmacy staff especially at rural and Broadway knows their customers very well. They see me walking over to the pharmacy, by the time I get there my perscriptions are in their hands and they already have my profile pulled up. To finally get to the counter and be greeted with a smile and they use y first name. It makes my trip to the store more personable. A real pleasure. To give it 5 stars from this reviewer, just goes to show they clearly don't need any room to improve. They got my vote.
