Open 24 hours. Clean well lit safe-ish close to novato PD.  A few odd locals on occasion but mostly good place if you need any late night snacks.

It's  my wife  food place, everything is  fresh  vegetables, meats,  they  really  care about their  costumers  also  the store is very  clean.

It's a Safeway. Has a Starbucks inside. Other than that nothing exciting to report. Staff is friendly and courteous enough, prices are average with their comparable competitors and well below the more boutique(ish) markets. I've been going here for 20 years and will continue doing so as long as I'm here.

My boyfriend went in to shop after he got off work at 1:00 AM in the morning.  He was tired and just wanted to pick up something for his breakfast.  The store hours are posted Open 24 hours.  He walked past three clerks while shopping through the store.  When we was finished and ready to check out, there was no one to check him out.  When someone finally came up to the front of the store, my boyfriend was told that they could not check him out for another 20 minutes.  That there was a time frame each night that they can not run transactions.  Can you tell me why, neither of the clerks could have told him that!  Here the man has had a long day working getting off late at night, shops and then is told he can not purchase.  I am very disappointed in this store.  The doors should be locked and a sign of closed should be posted so that people do not waste their time.  We left a message with their corporate office.  The stores manager called my boyfriend the very next morning.  They were very apologetic and we appreciated their prompt service.  The manager explained to us that this time of the morning is when the system shuts down for posting the transactions of the day.  It was nice that the manager went out of their way to make this right with us.  Also the manager will be speaking with the store clerks to make sure that guest who come in at that time of the morning will be notified prior to them spending their time shopping.
