Nice clean store. Cashier very nice. Young man in the Deli gave excellent customer service. It is a bit pricey.

There is a lady named Heather who works in meat. She is the best, most helpful butcher, even rivaling the service of nicer places like Roths. The rest of the store I don't care for. Unless something is on a spectacular sale, the pricing is very high. I have been very dissatisfied with most of my interactions with this store. Edit: my more recent experiences have been better, so they earned another star (now it's 3). Update: lately I have found more items on sale. And have had a few good interactions with the deli. I am not sure if they are on a conscious effort to improve, or if this is the luck of the draw. If I find out there are some deliberate improvement measures in place, I will raise my star rating to a 4. If the whole store was as courteous, helpful, professional, and competent as Heather is in the meat dept, it would be a 5 star. (But that would be nigh near impossible)

My daughter went in looking for fennel. Asked two employees for help and the best she got from both was a shoulder shrug. Do they teach customer service during training?? Next time I'll drive the extra distance and go to Fred's.

Pricey, but great service. I travel across town to shop at this store, this and south commercial are the nicest in the area. Keizer store consistently has awesome service and clean building. Kudos to staff and management. Why can't West Salem and 12th Street stores do the same?

The Keizer Safeway always has cashier's ready to help. A lot nicer than the one on Center. Center St SW doesn't always have enough cash registers open, forcing us to use self serve.
