The store needs an upgrade to reflect contemporary shopping demands such as self-checkout, which were available, but *removed*, scan-device shopping to streamline the shopping process, and in the U.S., you drive on the right side of the road, so we're used to entering a building on the right... Here? You enter on the left... Not a big deal, but it's awkward for shopper's entering the store.

I've been going to Safeway since we moved here 10 yrs ago because it's not that crowded and easy to get in and out fairly quick. The management is great especially Rich as are most of the staff. They are a tad pricey, but on Friday's they have specials. My only complaint is a new college aged hire that is quite disrespectful to not only the customers, but your groceries as well. Hopefully he'll move along like most of them do.

This is the only Safeway I know without self checkout registers. They had them, but for some reason took them away. Wait time is very long, because there are never enough cashiers. But it's clean and have very helpful staff.

Prices can be a little high but I love shopping here...friendly employees, great selection, pharmacy is wonderful...the bakery is the best!

Was my Eldersburg grocer until fast checkouts removed, lines too long.   No go to Shoppers.
