I actually work at this Panera, but I'll be writing with the customer perspective in mind. The food tastes good, some items I avoid but that's more of a personal preference than it being bad. While the food is good, it's a little expensive for what it is. It's expensive because they claim to source and use quality healthy humane ingredients. When it's more busy you're more likely to get something wrong in your order. This I feel like is usually because our quality checker has a lot of things to do so they sometimes forget to put an item into the bag. If you receive your sandwich but it's got the wrong modifications then it's likely that the sandwich maker wasn't paying close enough attention to what you wanted changed. We just recently moved to this new location. I used to like doing work on a laptop at our old store or other locations, but the new store is too bright and loud. It doesn't have the comfy work cafe atmosphere that other Panera locations do. The atmosphere for eating with others is still good though. Service is pretty good though. We usually handle whatever issues that are brought up pretty well. If you dine in and something is wrong with your order we'll happily help out by providing what we forgot or remaking it if it's wrong. If you get your food delivered and something is wrong one of our managers will be happy to help if you give us a call. Vegetarian options: You can modify any of your orders to not have meat. There are some sandwich and many salad options for vegetarians. No plant based meat though. Parking: Big parking lot. Wheelchair accessibility: I believe it is Wheelchair accessible. Dietary restrictions: We have white whole grain bread. You can tell us what allergies you have and we'll make sure we account for them. If you have any other specifics you could modify your order as such.
Wonderful experience with the employees here! I forgot my wallet with my husband and he ran to do something else while I ordered our food. There was a long line and I’d already ordered by the time I realized I didn’t have my wallet on me. The lady who took my order were so patient and kind. She actually paid for our order herself and said not to worry about it.
Love the food, staff is friendly, new location is terrible. The one on Lemay Ferry had an amazing vibe. Great place to get some work done or get lunch with friends. New location on 55 and Lindbergh is a Covid broth fest. All the chairs and tables are squished together in a tiny area. Can’t hear yourself talk and can’t walk through without bumping into someone or their chair. Looks like a sad attempt at a tiny version of McDonald’s. If you’re looking to get anything done this is not the place. So loud in here. Especially for as busy as it is you think they’d take that into consideration when building. seems more like they don’t want people getting comfortable here at all. Turning into “fast food”. I do love their charged up lemonades. But hate this location and set up. Rookie mistake moving here and designing it like this.
I can’t stand the new store. I have no clue why they moved, but I suspect it has to do with having a drive through. The old store was cozy and inviting. It had multiple bathrooms. It was fairly easy to get into. The new store is so bright that you can’t comfortably sit in a lot of the seats without going blind. It’s like a hospital cafeteria now. It’s really hard to access from Lindbergh also. The only good thing about it is the employees are really nice. I will probably cancel my sip club membership because I just don’t see myself going as much any more.
Panera started as a cozy coffee shop with good food. A place to relax with friends. The aptmosphere of the I—55 Lindberg store is different from other Panera restaurants. The decor is more like a fast food restaurant and is no longer inviting. Small dining area with uncomfortable chairs. I guess they just want people to drive though or carry out. I ordered breakfast. The soufflé was barely warm and I did not notice a microwave to warm it up. I notified the staff they were out of decaf coffee. 15 min later they were still out so I told the staff again. They said it was brewing. 20 min after that still no decaf. I finally just got water because they never did replenish the decaf and did not seem to care. I am a sip club member so could not get a refund for not having the drink I wanted. The only positive thing I can say is they did have coffee mugs not just paper cups. If only I’d of had coffee…..
The dining room is not inviting. It's a new store and already seems dirty. Most Panera are inviting, but this one seems stark and like a cafeteria. The service was a bit slow. Maybe the new crew needs more time to get the flow.Food: 5/5
New location is terrible. Lady taking the orders forgot multiple customers bakery items, I guess because she assumed they would be given with the sandwiches that were order. As we sat and ate, I noticed people come in to sit down and eat, but end up leaving because there’s no where to sit. Bring back the old bread co atmosphere with updated seating. Also no microwave
I came into the South County Center location for a toasted bagel and waited over 15 minutes. The cashier who took my order wrote my name down as Ricky instead of BRITTNEY. So when the order came up, naturally I didn’t respond because that’s not my name. This same cashier called the name herself and walked past me several times. She could have just handed me the bag since I didn’t respond to the name that wasn’t MY name. After 15 minutes of waiting, I finally go to ask about my order and that’s when I learned of the whole name dilemma. Instead of getting me a fresh bagel. They toasted the same bagel again, now burning it & making it hard and gross, and bagged it into the same bag and removed the name sticker. 0/10 do not recommend.
This is my first time visiting the ‘St. Louis Bread Co.’. but I am long time panera fan. You can still use your my Panera rewards here and they have a You Pick 2 menu which is my ‘go to’ at Panera. My boyfriend ordered the You Pick 2 broccoli cheddar soup and the BLT turkey avocado sandwich - the soup was good but he said there wasn’t much avocado in his sandwich. I ordered the You Pick 2 vegetable soup and a Mediterranean sandwich. Mine were both good. I also ordered a caramel latte which I found to be flavorless.
Tried their new chicken sandwich. It was alright, nothing special to be honest. As a whole, this is a good place to go. Theyre clean, food is about the same as every other location, and the drink options are good also. Could help if they downsized their menus a bit, and brought out new menu items every few months to experiment with.
