Morbidly cool. It's neat to see the old history and how they used to stack bodies on top of each other, and let them rot. Some of the dates on these are unbelievable and can't even be read.

The Catholic church is charging $20 a person to get into the cemetery and you have to also have a guide. It seemed ridiculous because I have never been to a graveyard or cemetery where I had to pay. We were going to visit the tomb of Marie Leveau but we were not prepared to pay such an amount. I'm not sure where the money is going but the amount hardly seem justifiable.

Each time I visit New Orleans, I always make sure to take a tour in Saint Louis Cemetery! It's so beautiful and so much history! You have to go early in the morning because any later than that, it is very hot. In any case, this is a must when in the Crescent City!

Make sure you get a tour guide or you can't go in. They check. Some tombs are in great disrepair. Others are freshly painted. The Marie Laveau tomb is fascinating. Still has sma tokens in front of her tomb as well as tiny x marks. Saw Nicholas cages future tomb. Quite odd. Lol
