Due to vandals as well as the desire to repair and refinish some of the graves, it costs $20 to enter, and you have to go with a tour guide. However, it is well worth the trip. They take credit card there as well. Parking is hard to come by, but there is a parking lot on the corner if you want to pay and make it easy. I parked about two blocks away and it was no problem. Make sure to check out Nicholas Cage’s future grave.

I read other reviews of people complaining about the price but I think it is totally worth the $20 per person. You learn a lot of history about the cemetery and the city in general. We had a great tour guide who was able to answer all of our questions and give great insight. She also had some book recommendations if we wanted to read more about certain occupants.

Cool place. Must have a tour guide. Tour guides are knowledgeable. Two "famous" Vudu grave sittes here. Tours take about an hour. Tips appreciated by guides.

Came to visit the dead only to find that the Catholic church decided to exploit them. 20 dollars a person to enter. They claim that the money goes to the upkeep of the cemetery but upon entering I found most of the tombs to be in complete disarray. The church can't even be bothered to repair broken head stones. Furthermore, the tour guide went on about how Nic Cage himself had to spend over 40k to restore 2 graves. WHAT IS THE 20 BUCKS A PERSON GOING TOWARDS!?!? Just another example of terrible people exploiting the innocent in order to line their pockets. If greed is one of the seven deadly sins, then surely those responsible will burn in hell.

It was awesome, Jennifer is an ace guide. I was just telling my daughter I didn't want just any guide and we got her. She was alive, and real! We had fun exploring the graves. She made the whole excursion worth it! I would suggest this tour to anyone, it's great. But ask for Jennifer! And it's wheelchair friendly, she had a lot of outgoing concern for me, and made sure I was always ok!
