Great food! Great service! We stopped yesterday and wanted to stop in today. We were too far away and very hungry, when we stopped in at the one in Bowling Green, wished we had gone the extra miles. Next time we will!

Stopped there for a homemade tenderloin,I ordered a tenderloin with ketchup,mustard,pickles,water and a cup of vegetable soup off of the bar
The waitress brought out a tenderloin that had grease puddles on top of it and it had lettuce,tomato and onion on it with a dill spear on the side and fries.
I said I did not want lettuce,tomato or onion or fries and I wanted pickles on my sandwich  which she informed me that they do not have sliced pickles,after asking she did bring mustard ,the ketchup was on the table.
Waitress ask if I wanted more water which I did but instead of picking glass up to fill she tried to fill it over my plate pouring water in my plate ,well the service was better than the tenderloin that was a nice shade of pink on the inside with a nice grease covered outside.
So the other nice thing was that while eating the Waitress decided to vacuum by us so that we could smell the fragrance of dust.
When I paid I realized that we should have priced the soup as it was only $3.29 per cup ,total bill was $24 and some change. 
I have taken groups there and drive from Kahoka after Church several Sundays and year but this is my last trip to Saints Avenue Cafe.

The Buffett does not have a lot of options it's always the same fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, boiled cabbage, bbq ribs. Tje food is not seasoned well and kind of bland

Good variety of food off buffet, most food is good, also great dessert choices.
Wait staff is sometimes slow checking back with you after seated.

This was the best place I've ate with the quality of service. Our waiter was excellent. Rick took care of our needs. I will come there again. Thank you for everything. The food was great.
