It only gets 2 stars because the price was good.  The sushi was awful and it did not look appetizing at all.  The upset stomachs we all got after sealed the deal, I will never go back.

I ate from here months ago and food was fantastic and the price was right, but I'm not sure what's happened recently as the food was not even comparable. The portion was not the same, not very fresh tasting, way over priced for the quality of the food and even worse it got my husband and I sick. Will not be eating from here ever again.

Listen,  the food is good. I usually get "yammy yammy"  roll. I used to be a regular here until I noticed how unsanitary the older gentleman chef is. I have heard from co-workers that they have seen him  mess with his dentures and then handle food. I blew it off as just simple gossip(silly me) .  The last time I went there, would indeed be my very last time.  The older chef was on break, so another chef was able to make my sushi(thank God). I then observed the older chef return from his break outside come back in  & do a quick rinse of his hands(no soap used).  Then I sat down to eat my roll. My seat happened to be in the direct line of vision of the chefs. The older chef made a nice looking roll, he turned around to grab something on the shelf behind him and the roll he just made fell on to the floor. I then witnessed this man pick it up , wipe it off with a towel and looked around to see if anyone saw him. He tried to serve this to some unsuspecting person which is really sad. Honestly the food is great here but if you prefer to not eat some unsanitary food then make  sure the older chef is not the one making it or just completely avoid this place.

OMG great service and the food was outstanding I actually almost bought the place. There California sunset rolls were amazing😀

Went once and never again. I ordered the shrimp tempura, California rolls and a few sashimi. They didn't give me a lot of ginger but that's ok I guess, what was disappointing was how small the rolls were. I can get bigger rolls and of quality at a sushi place inside of the Tony's finer foods in Niles. There's an actual chef in there that makes the sushi in front of you. Tastes amazing and not your average grocery store sushi where the rice is dry and the ingredients are old. They are fresh and rolled thick with perfection. I'd choose that over sakura sushi any day!
