Ultimately... Check this place out!  Great spot in a cozy neighborhood! Whether you are dining with family or relaxing with friends, the patio is perfect for evenings enjoying food and beer, and Margaritas!  Very colorful interior and exterior with unique tile mosaics on walls and floors. The bright colored tables and surroundings make you feel like you are somewhere else.  The service was very limited, but if you are not in a hurry you will be rewarded. The food is quite good. The chips and salsa are tasty, you get a red and Verde for the chips. The guacamole was very tasty but it came out with the dinner, a little late IMO.  The beer was cold and kept coming, need I say more?  The only critique I have besides slow service by being understaffed would be there was a true lack in spice and depth of flavor.  review based on new ownership only being open 3 weeks; 3/31/2022

Nice cozy place. Food came out fast. I ordered a Cadillac margarita that was awesome  I also ordered the fajita mix which comes with chicken, steak, and shrimp. It was really good. I'll be back to give something else a try on the menuFood: 5/5

The carnitas are super good, I definitely packed a to go box with extra rice, chips and salsa. I will be returning for a different menu item next time, the food is authentic and tasty. Beautiful music was playing and I did not have to wait long at all, the decoration was beautiful . 10/10

Great little place. Came for an early dinner & sat out on the patio. Had the place to ourselves. Food was delicious & service was awesome. Will definitely be back for more

UPDATED: REVIEW BELOW FROM FORMER OWNERS.  haven't tried the pozole. Overall, a great place to eat. New owners slimmed down the menu attached a photo from 8-28-22. The carnitas I had last time were some of the best I have had - tender, juicy and crispy on the outside. I had a taco salad with carne asada today. Pretty good. Fresh. Have a chicken burrito to consume tomorrow but got a little taste of it earlier. They are big items so easily split. Chicken taste had more char flavor if that's your thing. They serve liquor and cocktails now. Ultimately, it is set up to be very fun place to hang out. I hope they get busier and more popular. A Sunday funday would be great there if they got a band outside. Service is lacking bc it is only 2 or 3 ppl running the whole place. Don'tind the man up front. He's not always the friendliest when busy but that doesn't mean he is mean.  Menudo was alright. The flavor enhanced once I used the red pepper and oregano they provided. It would have been much better but the tripe had a funky scent that kept messing with my taste buds. The breakfast tacos were awesome. The carnitas breakfast plate was tasty too!  The best michelada I have had. They built a good-sized fun patio with good tunes if you're looking for a place to hang out with friends during The Great Quarantine of 2020.  They did change their tortilla chips which is a good thing.  Nachos were fresh and fulfilling! The salsas here and grilled jalapenos with onions are a great addition

First time visiting. All the food was tasty! The guacamole is flavorful and tasty, the chips were good.. I highly recommend checking this place out. As a vegetarian seeking vegetarian options I loved everything I got. I will be back and I will bring and tell others!   Vegetarian options: Flavorful tasty vegetarian options

Everything is great about this place. Generous portions especially the chips. Their salsa verde is the best I’ve ever had.  We thought about taking our food to go, but as soon as we walked in, we decided to stay. So happy Sal’s is also walking distance from our house.
