It's an all right taco truck about as authentic as it gets in the mountains. Seems to have more business than sals and that's been there longer so you tell me why the new one has more customers? That partFood: 4/5

We stopped in Mariposa after driving down 49 and needed stretch our legs and walk the dogs.  Luckily we came across this taco truck behind the museum.  The staff were super friendly and they kindly gave a homeless man some food and drink for free.  We ordered a pastor burrito and an asada burrito supreme.  Both came out quickly and for a small burrito, the pastor burrito was quite a good size.  Just meat, cheese, onion, and cilantro.  The pastor was seasoned super nice and almost a bit sweet, but perfectly balanced with the onion and cilantro.  The asada burrito supreme definitely lived up to its name.  The hot salsa left a nice lingering spice that was occasionally cooled by a bite with sour cream.  The asada was delicious as well, but not quite as good as the pastor.  I'm glad we stopped here and walked around to find this place.

I had 3 beef tacos. Meat was very dry. Not much flavour. Was overall a bit disappointed as the reviews looked good. In comparison, I had tacos 4 hours earlier from Hidalgo Taco Truck in Merced and I would rate those a 5 star.  I think they can do a better job by improving the beef cuts maybe make them a bit fattier, adding more salsa verde and using better quality tortillas.

Just ordered 8 tacos de asada. The meat tasted old and it was shredded?? I was very confused. Seen a couple of white pieces of meat and guess what I have chicken/asada tacos now!! Very disappointed. I guess they can provide the least quality available since there’s no competition. Do not recommend!! This Latina was highly disappointed. Threw the rest in the trash were this place belongs.

There are limited lunch options here in town, but plenty of Mexican options.  This place is EASILY the best-tasting, most authentic Mexican food around, and they have the best prices.  No other Mexican place comes close to the flavor.

Extraordinary environment and super affable service. The meals were fresh and enchanting. Will clearly recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Reasonable prices and big portions. Keep up the great work.
