About

Superb, fresh, delicious seafood.

Story

Salito’s has been a long standing part of the Sausalito landscape—Zack’s in the eighties, then Margaritaville and most recently Paradise Bay. The new look is fresh, bright and full of casual ambience. Large decks overlook the water and the beauty of the area is absolutely breathtaking.

Enjoy one of several refreshing Nick & Nora Cocktail Specials available from the full bar or just have a Café du Monde chicory coffee with freshly-made beignets

A casual bite or a full-on feast—either one or something in between is the perfect Salito’s experience.

Signature dishes include:
• House-made kettle bread served with Straus butter
• Whole roasted Dungeness crab
• Sizzling iron-skillets of mussels, shrimp and crab
• USDA Prime, prime rib
• Seafood specialties
• Crab chowder, interesting salads and creative sandwiches

Sitting on beautiful Richardson Bay in Sausalito, the blue sky and sparkling water are the perfect setting for an afternoon or evening of dining al fresco at Salito’s.

It's a real shame that the food here sucks so bad because the view is spectacular and it has everything it needs to be excellent. Even the service is fine but the food is so unbelievably disgustingly bad that I'll never go again despite 3 tries in the last 2 years. This place should call in Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares for help.

As a local, I enjoy hanging out for their Wine Down Wednesdays as long as I can sit far away from the jazz music that is very very loud. You cannot have a conversation sitting right next to someone while the musicians are playing. Wonderful location and once the bar staff gets to know you the service can be exceptional and generous. But the food is marginal at best. I finally tried something from the brunch menu - the Island Benedict. Paper thin pineapple slice with tough center, dish was luke warm, sauce had solidified and was sparse. What greens there were, were wilted with a tasteless liquid carelessly splattered over them. My other 3 guests were all unhappy with their meals and no one finished theirs. I really do like this place to have a few drinks and hang out on the deck but I don't go for the food and try to eat before I go. It's a popular place for tourists who don't know much better.
