I have been going to Salon Ami for about a year. I am your average guy in that I do not give much thought to my hair style or the fun of getting it cut. This had changed for me when I had my first cut with Amy. I was taken back by the individualized attention and the extra treatments that made the experience an experience and not just a hair cut. Since then my son and I both go here and love it!

Salon ami is a place your hair needs! Every stylist here is exceptional! They like to start off by putting scented oil in your hair putting your mind at ease. While washing your hair you also get a nice head and hand massage. Overall a great experience each and every time.

Nichole is super friendly and did an awesome job! I love that I went in with an idea and she helped me get a great cut and style that was even better than I could have imagined! Highly recommended.

Came in on Sunday, October 22 for an appointment for my 3 year old and myself. We had set the appointment a month ago and confirmed that we would be there. We were getting our hair done for a wedding that afternoon. Our appointments were both at noon. When we arrived no stylists were even at the salon yet. So when one finally arrived, she showed us to where we would be styled. But apparently she didn't look at the reason for our appointment Bc she almost started to wash and cut my daughters hair. I explained that she is a flowergirl and I showed a picture of what I wanted it to look similar to. After 20 min of this girl messing with my daughters hair, it was pretty clear that she has no idea what she is doing. She ended up putting in a sad braid and a "bun" that was the worst thing I've ever seen. It was NOTHING close to what I said I wanted. I finally told her it looked fine just so she would stop. The stylist that was supposed to do my hair never showed up so I told the lady that I don't have time for her to do mine (because there was no way in hell I was letting her touch my hair after what she did to my daughters) and we paid and left. When I got home, I had to completely redo everything. It's a good thing that I actually have experience doing hair so she ended up with a beautiful updo done by myself. What a waste of time going there to have this fun mommy-daughter experience that was a complete fail Bc of the salon. I will never go back and I will tell everyone to stay away.

Asked for all my information, gave a review via email about dissatisfaction with services my sister and I received- never heard from them... what's funny is when my sister did go in to have her hair cut fixed, the stylist asked specific questions that were in my review! 🙈
If you are looking for a salon that wants to build a relationship, produce their best work, and is professional-- this unfortunately is not the place to spend your time or money on.
