Where to start? Barely getting to this now, but last June the summer going into my senior year of high school I decided it was time for a change and wanted a new hair color. I went in for a consultation and the stylist insisted that I buy a cleansing shampoo before the dyeing of my hair. So I went ahead and bought the shampoo (total waste of money btw). Come back about a month later for the coloring and I wanted this caramel ombré I left the salon with a "red wine" colored ombré. (Definitely NOT what I wanted) I told myself it was fine at least I could tell the difference. A couple of weeks past and the color is TOTALLY gone. What a total disappointment. $200+ dollars spent on a barely noticeable hair color. Worst first experience at a salon ever.

Kylee did an amazing job with my hair! I came in with a faded red and brown mess and she was able to turn it into the purple that I wanted! She was very patient and told me all of the steps. The process was lengthy but well worth it. All of the employees were friendly. I will be back for root touch ups, hair cuts, etc. Kylee is a fantastic stylist and I look forward to working with her again!

I love Salon estique Megan is the best hairstylist that I've ever had she does a variety of different cuts from short to long she does my mother who's 91 and my mother just loves it she puts highlights that are beautiful and she treats her so nicely and then there's Sue Ellen who's the newest stylist and she is just so kind and phenomenal and lovely can't say enough good words about her

I'm going against the grain here, given all the positive reviews - but after being a client for almost a decade, I've had to give up on Salon Estique. I take particular issue with continued increases in pricing that are not stranded to improvements in quality, either with stylists or the salon itself.

The salon needs a remodel. The facilities haven't been upgraded for as long as I can remember - which is odd given how much tenant improvement is going on around the plaza. The salon is uncomfortably warm in summer which doesn't make for a high-end experience.

The staff are well trained in their craft, but the culture needs some work. There are obvious cliques that exist, especially when you try and change stylists. Appointments mysteriously go missing, and stylists leave to go home with sickness the day of your appointment - particularly if it's later in the day.

If prices were held for longstanding customers - which is offered by certain stylists to certain clients - that at least would be consistent and make a difference. If the salon was updated, that would also make a difference. Overall - the value, relative to the cost, is out of balance.

I've recently purchased the salon's new hair line of products named after my stylist Hector.   The "Hector Estrada - Conditioning Masque" it's light weight, smells good and softens my curly locks. I only use a dime size amount for the ends of my hair, otherwise it's too much and weighs my hair down. I've been going to Rubi & Raven for a couple of years and enjoy the vibe, people and music every time I'm there.Thank you!!!!
